Overview

MailStore Gateway has been designed primarily to serve for two distinct purposes:

1. A target for delivering emails from other email servers, that themselves create copies of send and received emails.
2. SMTP and POP3 proxy functionality to create and store copies of emails, exchanged between email clients and email server, for archiving by MailStore Server or MailStore Service Provider Edition.
