Administrators are able to search for messages by message id. This helps to validate whether a specific mail has been archived successfully. To search for messages by message id, an administrator can use any client. The syntax is messageid:value or messageid:<value>. There must not be any whitespace in between.
When using the Quick Search in MailStore Client or MailStore Outlook Add-In, only messages in the own archive will be found. When using the Advanced Search, Web Access or MailStore Outlook App, an additional folder filter can set. All other search criteria will be ignored. The Archive Access compliance settings will be heeded.
