To reset the administrator password, follow these instructions:
- Start the MailStore Gateway Config Tool by clicking on the desktop shortcut MailStore Gateway.
- Stop the Gateway service by clicking Stop Service.
- Open a command prompt with administrative privileges (cmd).
- Navigate to the C:\Program Files\MailStore\MailStore Gateway\service folder.
- Run the command Host.exe /locksmith to reset the password.
cd "C:\Program Files\MailStore\MailStore Gateway\service" Host.exe /locksmith
- In the Windows Command Prompt you will get an output with the new password.
- Restart the Gateway service by returning to the MailStore Gateway Config Tool and clicking Start Service.
